NIVEL 1: Fichas Iniciales 2500 Blinds 10/20
Comienzo sin ninguna estrategia preconcebida esperando a ver por donde respira la mesa. En la primera orbita me entra A5s en sb, consiguiendo una escalera y subo hasta 2650. Mi mesa comienza a soltarse, miro los datos de los jugadores y no veo ninguno en plan estrella asi que decido hacer algun call loose preflop sin ligar nada. Termino con 2400 fichas. Primera cerveza.

Primera mano del nivel AQs en utg+2, raiseo y me llevo las blinds. Mi mesa cada vez juega mas loose con raises y cold calls, decido esperar a tener una mano y me tiro cosas como A9 en middle.

Antes habia vistoa nypokerkid raisear en flop y turn un top pair con KQ ante uno que le beteo como yo desde bb. Es posible que lleve tmb KJ o incluso un draw pero no voy a ser yo el que lo averigue. Me quedo malito con 1965 fichas. 8 manos sin ver el flop.

En las siguientes manos subo all in con 99 a un raiser "loose" y foldea. Veo un flop barato desde sb con QJ y me voy. Robo blinds con K10 desde late. Raiseao desde midle con J10s y me voy ante un reraise. Hago cold call a otro raisedor loose con AJs, sb tmb hace call y bb sube all in, fuera. Siguiente mano AJoff raise y call de otro de los loose, pillo top pair en flop, apuesto y fold. Dos manos despues y la ultima del nivel me vuelven a entrar ases!!! Dos veces AA en menos de 25 manos, os creiais que jugaba bien?? los ases juegan solos!

NIVEL 6: Fichas Iniciales 6152. Blinds 100/200
Mi mesa es buena y no quiero volver a tener que manejar un stack pequeño, asi que nada de florituras. Primera mano del nivel de nuevo A10 utg, fold, un short sube y otro le pone all in, A9s vs KK (gana el A9s con flush) y un flop con 10 high! menos mal, imaginarios la secuencia siguiente, yo raiseo o hago limp el short hace un raise y el KK lo ve, yo pienso vamos a ver el flop y si no ligo me voy ....
Los astros siguen de mi parte, 5 manos despues me entra KK en midle, una mano muy curiosa donde hasta el river no sabia que iba a pasar. Comentar que mi rival era el mejor de toda la mesa con un juego muy solido por lo que con ese call le puse en AQ o QQ principalmente, luego en el river cuando no me subio me imagine un QQ, que equivocado estaba! El tio queria cazarme.

Siguiente mano A10 en sb, uno en late sube y hago fold. Siguiente Q10 en late, raise y robo. 4 manos sin jugar.
NIVEL 7: Fichas Iniciales 9287. Blinds 100/200 Ante de 25
13 manos sin ver un flop y de nuevo AA, tachan! sole me llevo las blinds y antes. Unas pocas despues vuelvo a robar con 10Js en midle. En este punto todas las menos venian raiseadas excepto alguna que otra que se jugaba con 3 o 4 limpers incluidas las blinds, aunque esta normalmente eran saboteadas por un raise squeeze ¿o no?. Unas 9 manos mas en blanco.

3 manos en el nivel y me llevo el bote preflop con AQ. En algun punto tengo que empezar a jugar mas agresivo pues si me despisto las blinds me van a poner en una mala situacion, suerte que unas manos despues me entro AK y gane ante un short con JJ. Primer flip coin del dia.

La siguiente mano hago call con k9s a un raise del lider de mi mesa con la intencion de atraparle o echarle de la mano si es posible, el agresivo jugador de mi izquierda sube all in y tengo que irme.
Pongo un poco el freno tirandome algun suited conector en early/midle. 8 manos despues viene otra complicada, mi rival no era nada del otro mundo.

Mano siguiente, 22 y me llevo las blinds. 6 manos despues el chip lider raiser loose sube desde late y le pongo all in desde BB con 88, pense en un stop and go pero decido que todo o nada, hizo fold. Poco despues subo con A6s y el pesado de mi izquierda me sube all in, y van ya.... hago fold. Mano siguiente, AJ en midle, hago raise y el de mi izquierda de nuevo me sube all in!! el bb short hace call. Aqui estoy pensando un rato, no se que pensaba porque era un fold claro pero es tio de mi izquierda me estaba calentando y estaba casi dispuesto a aceptar un flip coin con el, lo malo era que con AJ el flip coin no lo tenia para nada garantizado y ademas iba a necesitar una as seguro para llevarme todo el bote. En este punto estaba jugando mas agresivo en determinados spots. Por supuesto que entro en razon y hago fold. Termina el loco nivel.

NIVEL 9 Fichas: 7342 Blinds 300/600 ante 50
Aqui comienza ya el nivel decisivo para entrar en los premios, lo cual en este punto era mi objetivo. Cada vez estoy mas short, cada ronda me consumira 1350 ficahs asi que tengo que hacer algo pronto si no quiero verme en una situacion limite. En mi mesa excptuando a uno no hay nadie que vaya sobrado de fichas, asi que tenemos a uno con 18k y los demas entre 6k y 11k.
Tercera mano en el nivel y me entra A10 en utg+1, ahora si que la juego con un raise y me llevo las valiosas blinds y antes. Me paso 11 manos sin poder hacer nada, sin cartas y sin oportunidad/huevos de subir el bote. En esto que siendo bb, el sb que esta mas short aun que yo hace fold y me llevo gratis las binds con un maravilloso 53off. 7892 fichas y seguimos sufiendo.
Tres manos despues saco la artilleria, hay limper que normalmente no tenia mucho si solo hacia limp y decido jugarmela. Hasta ahora habia sido bastante tight por lo que mi imagine me permitia aparentar una mano. Ademas si tenia la mala suerte de econtrarme contra algo fuerte mi 75s todavia tendria algo de vida.

La mano siguiente tengo 22 y y hago fold ante un miniraise de 2bb. Siguiente mano A10 en midle, raiseo y el bb hace call, este jugador solia hacer muchos calls desde la bb. En una mesa con K 10 5 2 K vamos hasta el showdown con pocos bets por en medio (miedo de ambos) y los dos llevamos lo mismo. 4 manos despues tiro A9 desde la bb ante un raise de midle. 3 manos despues subo con K10 desde late y el sb (mas short que yo) me sube all in, fold y enseña AK.
Mano siguiente: Despues de la mano anterior me ha quedado con 6517 fichas y con poco espacio para maniobrar. Me encuentro con una oportunidad que pienso no puedo dejar escapar. Es la ultima mano del nivel.

Despues de ganar este bote abro otra cerveza y ya me veo en los premios, ahora solo tengo que aguantar y no hacer ninguna estupidez. 3 manos despues todos hacen fold hasta mi que tengo A10 en late, tengo a uno relativamente nuevo en mi mesa dos sitios a mi izquierda con 25k vs los 10k mios, no estamos para bromas, un mal paso ahora y me puedo ver con problemas para entrar en los premios, fold.

Me pongo con 20172 fichas, deben de quedar alrededor de 300 jugadores ya que desde que entramos en los premios la gente se elimina a un velocidad endiablada. Justo en la siguiente mano me entra A10 en utg+2 y el short stack de mi derecha se pone all in, pienso en si vale la pena verselo y decido que no, fold.

4 manos despues el mismo villano raisea cuando tengo k10s otra vez, fold. Sigo con la idea se seguir esperando y tener fichas suficientes para que cuando haya que ponerlas todas en el centro pueda doblar y ponerme muy bien.
3 manos despues llega la que fue la mano mas importante del torneo y donde tuve la mayor suerte. Es muy discutible la jugada que hice, en mi defensa alego que no me imagine que el villano llevase K10, antes le habia visto hacer miniraises con KQ pero esa mano la elimine cuando chekeo el flop, asi que me arriesgue esperando que no tuviese un as o que si lo tenia lo foldeara (nunca se sabe lo que la gente se imagina), en el caso en el que me hiciese call siempre tendria la salida del flush draw o de pillar algun otro out, en fin, si me dicen que tengo escalera me voy por patas!

Esta mano fue el momento clave del torneo, aqui ya empeze a mirar mejor la estructura de premios, donde estaban los saltos importantes, a que velocidad se eliminaba la gente, cuanto tabaco me quedaba (muy poco!!), y abri creo la ultima cerveza de la noche. Mi mesa habia cambiado mucho en las ultimas rondas, y la gente jugaba bastante bien, los jugadores que mas me gustaba como jugaban eran foshio, 2xtreemz (manejo un low stack magistralmente) y westmenloAA, este ultimo no conocia la palabra miedo. Yo en este punto no tenia mucha intencion de ver flops, la mesa jugaba muy bien y mi idea era aguantar y doblar, mi stack todavia daba miedo a la mayoria de la gente en mi mesa.

NIVEL 14 Fichas: 57753 Blinds 1500/3000 ante 150
4 manos despues raiseo con 10Js, un short stack que tiene 5500 fichas me lo ve con KJs y hacemos chop con escalera. 6 manos despues llega otra mano importante en donde en un guerra blind vs blind pille un buen flop y un rival agresivo. Aqui preflop no sabia muy bien por donde tirar, no me gustaba completar ya que ante un raise mi 2 era muy bajo para poner fichas asi que decidi intentar ganarla preflop pero mi rival vio la subida.

82903 fichas!!!!!! Empezaba a creerme que podia hacer algo, pero de momento mi objetivo era intentar entrar entre los 30 primeros que cobraban 4435$ y luego ya veriamos, todavia era tarea complicada. La magnitud del torneo me sobrepasaba, en otra situacion suelo jugar mas agresivo con la idea de intentar acumular fichas y llegar a la mesa final en buena posicion pero aqui fue distinto.
Estuve unas 15 manos sin ni siquiera una oportunidad de robar blinds.

No tuve oportunidad de entrar en ninguna mano, seguia con mala racha de cartas y estuve una eternidad sin jugar. Mi stack habia bajado hasta 55000 fichas!! Mi mesa habia cambiado bastante pero seguia teniendo big stacks a mi izquierda.

De repente me entro A6s en la sb y todos hicieron fold, no me gustaba nada la situacion sin posicion ante el lider, un raise podia no asustarle y a mi me suponia dejar 1/5 de mis fichas en el centro, asi que decidi arriesgar y le subi all in, hizo fold.
7 manos despues por fin me entra algo, JJ en sb,todos fold, hago raise y bb fold. Antes me han cambiado de mesa por primera vez en todo el torneo, despues de estar tantas horas en la misma posicion esto me supone un pequeño trastorno. Mi mesa nueva esta ahora asi:

Aqui me tome mucho tiempo para pensar, el time bank en este torneo es de 3 minutos. El villano podia tener un as mejor que yo o una pareja mayor que 8s con lo que me ponia en una situacion dificil: bote de algo mas de 60k y call de 33k, un poco menos de 2-1. Por otro lado yo acaba de raisear la mano anterior, estaba ahora en una situacion de robo vs bb, el bb no tenia demasiadas fichas con un M<5 y le tenia cubierto. Puse las cosas en una balanza e hize call otra vez con mi sufrido estomago

4 manos mas y me entra 99 en utg+1, raiseo y me llevo blinds. 2 manos despues tengo k6 en bb, sb me sube preflop y veo, flop 10QA, me apuesta el flop y mando mi gutshot bien lejos, fold. 106k. 3 manos mas y cambio de nivel, solo me quedaban 2 cigarros, comenzaba a tener dolores de cabeza (demasiada cerveza?)) en realidad estaba sufriendo y no disfrutando.
NIVEL 16 Fichas: 112069 Blinds 3000/6000 ante 300
Primera mano y subo con A10 en late, todos fold. 3 manos despues subo con QK en utg+ 2, me llevo las blinds de nuevo. 9 manos en blanco y vuelvo a subir con AJ utg+1, todos fold. 122k. 3 manos despues me dan 77 en la sb pero antes hay un raise y un reraise all in con lo que tiro mi pareja bien rapido. Enseñan AJ y AK, cae una K en el flop. Que habria hecho ante un raise del AK??? no lo se..., esto tambien es suerte aunque servida de otra forma.
Me paso 15 manos sin jugar viendo atonito como todas las manos son raiseadas. Por fin me entra AQ, subo y fold. 112k. 2 manos mas y estamos en el nuevo nivel. Descanso. Aqui me pongo a buscar tabaco como un loco y encuentro un cigarro perdido por ahi, me quedan 3 y los conservo como el oro, me pillo unos zumos mulitvitaminas, chocolate (del de verdad) .y almax.

Aqui el villano es un buen jugador y me hizo un instaraise all in, no se lo penso ni un solo segundo. Lo primero que se me ocurrio fue hacer fold bien rapido, pero aun asi pedi tiempo y pense un poco a ver la situacion. Mi bet era muy pequeño y mostraba debilidad, pero su check en flop me hacia pensar que era mas facil estar ante un draw que ante una mano fuerte, a estas alturas la gente no se andaba con tonterias dando cartas gratis, tambien habia la posibilidad de estar ante un full o que me hubiesen jugado AA-KK despacio pero en general me daba la impresion de que era muy posible que mi rival solo queria echarme del bote con algun draw a color. Asi que cogi fuerzas de no se donde y despues de mucho pensar me tire al barro:

422k!!!! Menos de 40 jugadores. Me pongo en segunda posicion y comienzo a pensar seriamente en una mesa final, no soy muy consciente de la magnitud de lo que estoy haciendo y solo pienso en no cagarla, por lo menos asegurarme los 7k para el top 18 y conservar fichas para entrar en la mesa final.
Justo la mano despues de AK me entra JJ, increible, despues de mucho rato sin ver nada ahora me estaba llegando todo de golpe, me preocupa esta mano ya que me habia llevado los tres botes anteriores y no me extrañaria que la gente comenzase a sospechar, de todos modos mi stack impone y las blinds foldean. Con esta mano termino el nivel.
Comentar que en esta mesa nos encontrabamos 5 jugadores de entre los 8 primeros aun asi tenia la ventaja de una buena posicion sobre los otros big stacks, a pesar de ello cualquier paso en falso podia resultar fatal.

El viejo continuation bet me daba un buen bote y me consolidaba. Segunda captura de pantalla.
Siguiente mano me dan A10 en late y me tiro ante un open push de PeterPan. Me paso 10 manos sin jugar donde pense en raisear q9s utg pero lo deseche, llevaba un rato callado asi que cuando veo J8s en midle decido robar y funciona. 496k

5 manos sin jugar hasta que me llega 107s foldeada en sb, hago call y veo un flop de 8 9 3, beteo un poco mas de la mitad y me lo llevo. Siguiente mano QQ en dealer, hay un raise de 2bb delante, hago una subida de 10bb mas y me lo llevo preflop. 535k voy segundo (me parece) y creo que ya estabamos solo 22 jugadores. Me veo en la mesa final si no hago estupidezes, y ese es mi objetivo, la mesa final.

Los continuation bets estaban dando su fruto. 683K. Me pongo primero despues de arriesgarme un poco. Solo quedamos 21 jugadores!
4 manos sin jugar y me llega foldeada a sb con 45s, el bb era el short stack de la mesa con 140k y decido subirle hasta 48k dejandome casi commited si me sube all in, el sabe esto. Se queda pensando, dice que es un acojonao y se foldea A3 segun el. Estamos cerca de un gran salto de dinero (de 4.4k a 7.3k) y se nota.
3 manos despues subo con 99 y todos fold. En esos momentos era el gran lider de mi mesa con 250k mas que el segundo pero aun asi no quiero jugar demasiado agresivo, de momento mi tactica de aguantar me ha funcionado asi que sigo con ella.
3 manos despues el todos hacen fold y el sb completa, yo tengo 92off en bb y sale un flop de A 4 6 con dos diamantes, el sb hace check y yo me llevo el bote con un bet pequeño. Otras 3 manos y decido robar con J7, me gusta robar a veces con manos que no me van a poner en complicaciones si alguien me sube, todas hacen fold. Termina el nivel.

Ya no me queda tabaco, soy un fumador nato sin tabaco, por suerte el dolor de cabeza/resaca ha sido aplacado por el iboprufeno, zumos y chocolate. Seguimos jugando shorthanded a la espera de que nos juntemos en dos mesas.
5 manos en el nivel y el mismo que antes foldeo A3 a mi raise se pone all in desde utg con sus ultimas 80k fichas, yo tengo A8off en bb y decido que es suficiente para poner 60k en un bote de casi 120k, el villano enseña KQ y mi as sobrevive sin mejorar. Nos juntamos los ultimos 18 jugadores. Soy Chip leader con 844k y lider absoluto en mi mesa casi doblando al segundo. Creo que aqui pense en que mucha gente "buena" iba a arriesgar para intentar meterse en la mesa final, decidi parar un poco el carro despues de la mano con A8, esperar a que se eliminaran algunos y estar short handed para entonces robar. No soy muy consciente de lo que pasa. Ya no estoy sufriendo tanto como antes, solo miro que quedando octavo ya me llevaria 24k y a partir de ahi me asusta todo lo demas que veo asi que solo pienso en aguantar y llevarme 24k minimo sin pensar ni un segundo en los demas premios.

NIVEL 21 Fichas: 859386 Blinds 15000/30000 ante 1500
7 manos sin moverme haste que raiseo con 44 llevandome las blinds. 7 manos mas y raiseo con J10s en late robando de nuevo. La mesa esta ahora short con 6 jugadores, todos tienen menos de la mitad de fichas que yo excepto el lider que esta a mi izquierda con casi el doble. Tengo que robar algo para ir disminuyendo el stack de los short pero con cuidado de que el lider no se enfade demasiado. La mano siguiente me entra QJs pero al final decido no jugarla ya que en este punto dos raises seguidos pueden ser sospechosos y QJ no puede soportar nada de accion. 6 manos despues decido que ya me toca robar otra vez y subo con 69s, todos fold. 8 manos mas tarde tengo 55 en la big blind, el lider raisea utg y yo se lo veo, hago fold ante su continuation bet en un flop 4 A 7. En la ronda siguiente estoy en sb y todos hacen fold, no quiero meter muchas fichas sin posicion contra el lider asi que hago limpo con K9 off y me voy en el flop cuando el apuesta. Mano siguiente todos fold hasta mi que me llevo las blinds subiendo con A6. Un par de manos mas y por fin estamos en la mesa final! .

Decidi que habia llegado el momento de arriesgar de nuevo, el raise del primero me preocupaba algo pero el reraise del otro no me indicaba demasiado ya que este tio habia estado jugando muy agresivo todo el rato.
Ya eramos solo 7. Me pase otras 10 manos sin jugar hasta que robe con un maravilloso 46off dese utg+2. Ya eramos solo 6 e iba cuarto en fichas. 3 manos despues otro robo con K10off. Otras tres y de nuevo robo con K10s. Aqui llego una mano complicada, o no? el tio super agresivo de mi derecaha subio all in directo igual que otras veces para todo su stack (era co-lider), yo me encontre con 99 sin saber si jugarme un posible flip coin o esperar... al final tire mi pareja y con eso termina el nivel.

Primera mano me llevo las blinds subiendo con Q9s.
Mi idea era aguantar lo maximo posible robando de vez en cuando y esperar una mano con la que machacar al agresivo chip lider. No miraba a ganar el torneo, sino a intentar quedar en el top 3o4 para poder entrar en un posible chop.

Mi rival era superagresivo asi que AJs era un bomba. De todos modos de ser yo casi hubiese hecho call con cualquier cosa. Sin duda me dio credito gracias a mi juego tight (o no queria enseñar su basura). De nuevo tengo 876k.

Supongo que de nuevo por la inercia de haber ganado la anterior creo que la jugue demasiado rapido, podia haberla ganado preflop o en el flop pero se dio el caso de que aqui el villano llevaba algo gordo o eso me dio a entender. Posiblemente AQ o AJ. Quizas un draw a color aunque no creo. Otra vez intente simular una mano hecha en el flop pero no me salio bien la jugada. Supongo que despues de 8 horas jugando mantener la concentracion todo el rato era complicado. Supongo que debi foldear aqui o no apostar tanto en el flop pero hasta la ultima parte del torneo este tipo de bets me habian funcionado muy bien asi que lo volvi a intentar.

Esta claro que en este punto no puedo tirar A9 en la vida, entonces me quedan dos alternativas subir 180.000 o all in. Mi razonamiento fue que subiendo manos como parejas pequeñas/medianas, QK o A10-A7 podian intentar hecharme del bote preflop o en el flop mientras que poniendome all in podria tirar a alguna de esas manos. No estaba seguro de poder ver un reraise all in al igual que hice antes con A8. Asi que supuse que ganaba mas con el all in que con un raise.
Cuando vi el AK ya estaba tan contento con lo que habia hecho que solo torci un poco el gesto, dije mierda bien alto (o eso creo) y espere el milagro que no ocurrio. Entonces Lee me dio una sosa felicitacion y me fui al cuarto a darle la noticia a mi chica que estaba medio dormida, sabia que estaba llegando muy lejos en un supertorneo pero no sabia cuanto de lejos todavia. Por la calle la gente ya se iba a trabajar y yo acababa de ganar el sueldo de mas de un año en tan solo ocho horas. Todavia estoy asimilandolo.
